• Garry's Mod Weapon Creation

I recently decided to try my hand at creating weapons for Garry's Mod using 3DS Max. I already have the model done, but I am unsure of how to do a lot after that. By the way, if there is a tutorial on this, PLEASE point it out to me and feel free to delete this post! I have created a firing animation, that extends over 100 frames. Should it only be a few frames but on a loop? Or should it stay at the full length? I also am unsure of how to do the viewmodel and what to export the animations as, but thanks to Wall Worm, I can now do the LODs. As I said before, if there is a tutorial for this please tell me, as the source wiki is not exactly helpful.
There are some example weapon models in the sdk folders, I taught myself off of those.
