I downloaded a file from the .org place for garrysmod, but where do I put the file in steam folder. I put it in the gmod/gmod place, but I dont know where to find it.
If it's in an addon form (the folder has an addoninfo.txt in it), stick it in steamapps/username/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons or whatever your filepath is.
If you're Using gmod 9, i dont know, but if ur using Garry's Mod, its located in

Inside the Folder that you've downloaded, if theres info.txt place the folder in the directory above, if not just extract it to garrysmod folder
