You're wrong there. I can easily rig every HL2 Character on any L4D/2 Character. The only problem would be, who wants some low-res crappy models in TF2 or L4D? The HL2 world doesnt fit at all in TF2. And every tutorial that teaches you rigging will teach you, howto get those characters in TF2/L4D.
