This is Model and Skin section so I am trying to ReSkin so here we go, Whenever I try to extract dog_sheet.vtf or http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/DeadMProductions/Error.jpg?t=1280993226 it says Error writing C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\dog_sheet.vtf (Error: Unexpected end of GCF stream (0 B of 1398336 B). Has the GCF file been completely acquired?) and there's errors for everything else I try to extract so any help?
Have you downloaded Half Life 2 Episode 1 completely at this time? If not, that's typical why, you don't have the required bytes for the extraction to continue.
^ Yep, that's exactly the problem. You can see those files are grayed-out; either the file hasn't been downloaded completely, or he doesn't own the game and is using a preloaded .gcf. Try running Episode 1 first. Just go to the main menu and exit; you don't need to actually ply it.
I have Half Life 2 Ep 1 ep 2 ep lost coast all installed I went to the menu screen than I exited but still its greyed out If anyone has Team Viewer and would like to sign in and tak control of my computer and help me out id be grateful
Anyone?
Does your downloading progress say 100%?
do a file verification, rightclick on episode one go into properties and find the "verify file integrity" button or something like that.
still nutin
if dogs skin shows up in the game, then you might have it written on a bad drive. If it doesn't show up in game, you can try deleting the content and redownloading it. Edit: Here i just packed it for you http://www.1337upload.net/files/dog.rar
thanx
