• The Kerbal Space Program Porting Thread [SPAAAAAAAACE]

Hello there! I recently started to try and export Kerbal Space Program models, speaking of, here is what I have so far... I've managed to get the Kerbals into 3DS and managed to get the visor successfully exported into Source Filmmaker [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/oLwlQwO.png?1[/IMG] [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/dcrrSBX.png?1[/IMG] I'm planning working on the whole Kerbal model, hopefully more, but I'm a noob coming to modelling so I'm learning. I don't know rigging etc, so may have to learn or get someone to do it, but conveniently the model has an off-centred root bone which helps when putting everything together, as the root can be matched. Any tips would be great!
[B]UPDATE[/B] Model extraction is easy, but texturing is difficult, must've got the visor by luck or something, here's what's happening: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/8y1WH3w.png?1[/IMG] [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/3QyWeMu.png[/IMG] I don't know what is going on, but the textures aren't being exported properly or something.
What did you use to extract the kerbals?

Here, you'll find the unity importer, I think the installation instructions are in the .rar or whatever the file is, but I think you just drag and drop it into 3DS Max. I've been struggling to a point where I can't actually do anything haha

UPDATE: Working with zurf3r to get the Kerbals working in source, and I'm developing a launch trailer for the meanwhile.
