Hey. I recently downloaded mdldecompiler.exe to reskin models without replacing them and have put the executable in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\***\sourcesdk\bin
but every time I try to run it I get the following error; "The procedure entry point Q_AppendSlash could not be located in the dynamic link library vstdlib.dll" and then it crashes. Please, if anyone could tell me what to do It would be much appreciated :D
In the bin folder you will see orangebox and ep1
Open the ep1 folder and stick the exe in the [I]bin[/I] folder in that folder.
Then you'll probably get the ToolsAppId error.
To fix this you'll open the exe with a hex editor, find the "ToolsAppId" string and change it to "FoolsAppId". (or whatever letter you like)
Or get the fixed version.
Also hexing.

Still works but its limited by what you can name the model.
Yea hexing would be much better for what your wanting.
Also didn't know you could alter the text in the gameinfo to make it work I just put a "-" before the 211.
