I can model with solid works 2010 but I don't know how to convert it (.sldprt files) to something Garrys Mod actually understands. I know hammer will save them as usable, but it wont open .sldprt models. Is there a converter or something out there?
You can export it as a [url=http://www.sycode.com/products/obj_export_sw/]obj[/url] and convert it to a smd with [url=http://blog.gneu.org/software-releases/obj-2-smd-converter/]obj2smd.exe[/url]. Then compile it using this documentation:

It's not the best option however, you might need to switch to a more compadible program like blender(free), 3dsmax or milkshape.
