Is there away to give one model another model's uv map?
It claims you can load a UVmap by itself from a .obj in Milkshape, but i've not really tested if it works. That might do what you describe.

What if the model is in a different pose from the other?
Just tell us what two models it is. There's a ton of things that can make it not work, and going through all of them will take forever. Actually, I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do. Are you trying to use one texture on a different model? Are you trying to make a model able to use another model's materials properly? You aren't quite making sense.
