Just some quake 1 ragdolls i ported to make a screenshot with. They're surprisingly easy to pose except the shambler who's arms are a little hard. Credits to ID Software and me. May do more in the future Includes -------------- Grunt Ogre Player Shamber
i remember the time when i first played quake: "these graphics are amazing, almost real life!!" i was about 7 years old. thank you for these awesome and nostalgic models!!
That cant be more than 50 poly's each
Look pretty good for what they are :P
At least you didn't ruin them with up-res'd textures.
At least you didn't ruin them with up-res'd textures.
The fuckin truth.
Good old times
That shotgun has more pollycount than all the ragdolls combined. :v:
Can you port C'thon(only upper body but still) and the knight?
thank you! Quake is one of my all time favorite games!
that shambler used to scare the shit out of me as a kid, still does actually.
It's funny when you apply the wireframe material on them :v:
I think these were great graphics, for the time. Also, can you do Quake 4/Quake Wars models?
shambler representin'
Could you port some original DOOM sprites as models?(By making an invisible rectangle mesh then applying the sprite texture onto the rectangle?)
you gotta love the simplicity of the games back then :D
Wow, nostalgia. I loved playing Quake. Those white lightning monsters are creepy. Now I'm gonna go buy Quake off steam.
Would be awesome if the player model was an actual player model. If it is, sweet, if not, please?
Amazing release.
