Can't believe I'd forget about this. Would anyone be willing to port over the Nightmare from Other M? Gibs and face posing would be nice, but isnt entirely necessary. Favorite boss from Fusion... If anyone would be willing to do it, much thanks to them for putting in the time and effort.
I loved this guy in Fusion, support. We need more models of bosses from Metroid.

Man this boss is creepy as fuck, he has A GLOB OF MUCOUS FOR A FACE!
Man this boss is creepy as fuck, he has A GLOB OF MUCOUS FOR A FACE!
It was more how his face darkened and melted the more you shot it, and how it leaked out of his faceplate Nintendo Grade Nightmare Fuel

I actually remember my brother mentioning Nightmare from Metroid: Fusion in a conversation with his friends. I'd actually like to see this in-game and I think it would be cool if there were bodygroups for his face.
We also need ridley.
We also need ridley.
Well, there's files ripped for it.
We also need ridley.
Then maybe you should make a separate request thread for him?

Thanks!
If I may bump. I dont have the proper programs to do this with, so If I can ask if anybody's looked at the model for bone amounts and what not?
if they're extracted from the game using bresviewer there should be a skeleton, but the screenshots look like they were just ripped ingame with DXRipper. But even with a skeleton, there's still the need to rig it again and give it a new collision mesh, since the one that is included in the file won't be usable in source. Animations export or even viewing is also not supported with bresviewer.

The models themselves are ripped properly, are T-posed and have a proper skeleton/rigging if you import the PSK file. Well, other than being sideways and microscopic, which is how BRRESViewer exports them.
Is there anyway you can fix them?
In MilkShape, they seem decent sized. I compared Ridley to a Pirate commando I found on the site. Ridley's pretty big, as to the Space Pirate.
I suppose at worst, I can do the unthinkable and work on the model myself, although it'd be my first experience with making ragdolls. Does anyone know of a tutorial for making ragdolls?
My turn to bump. These could be very good gmod models.
..I thought this was for nightmare..
..I thought this was for nightmare..
Well I posted the Ridley models since Ridley(User) mentioned it and I guess the attention shifted... I want Nightmare more personally. I should probably get 3DS Max and try it myself.

This just isn't for Ridley (my request). If you do feel that your thread has shifted it's attention, Nu-San, I apologize for that. I do hope that the thread actually fufills it's original purpose. It was RTB's choice to experiment with the Ridley model anyway.
Alright, got 3DS Max 2012. Lets see if I cant figure out what to do from what tutorials I can find.
Not to be rude, but do you know what you are doing?
Not to be rude, but do you know what you are doing?
Not at all, Admittedly. Let me guess, wrong version of 3DS Max, or somthing?
