I ported this model from xnalara, everything seems to be fine aside from her hair.
using $alphatest makes her hair awful. can someone teach me and give me some tips on how to fix her hair?

Double the mesh. Apply different textures to each duplicate. I generally name one "<whatever>_alpha", then other "<whatever>_trans".
Flip the faces of the "alpha".
In the VMTs, apply "$alphatest" to "alpha," and "$translucent" to "$translucent."
Is generally what I do. May or may not need to play with "$nocull" on them, but be aware that if you have it on the wrong material & mesh, it looks really bad.
