I'm rather new to garrysmod, and what I would like to request is how to open/edit existing models/ragdolls.
What I'm trying to do is basically change the arms of an existing model and was wondering how to do that
what're the required programs?
is there a tutorial thats out there?
What exactly do you want to do? Swap arms from a different model or change the way the arms are skinned(like shirt color and what not)?
model-wise, so far what I know is to use the .mdl file and open it through some object viewer program and change it into an .obj file where I can open it through softimage.
once i do change it though, how do i change it back into a gmod file?
