Hello! I was wondering if someone could port the Bulldozer model from Payday 2/Payday : The Heist to Garry's Mod, or point me to the port if someone already did that. Need the model for a pose i'm working on. Any takers?

You don't need to keep bumping your thread when it's been less than a day. Ease up on that. As for what you're asking, nobody has ported that model as far as I know. I THINK someone ripped the model at some point, but I don't remember if anyone took up trying to port it over or not.
Dude, what's the point on bumping your thread 2 times in less than one day?

What a nice attitude, I'm sure someone will be willing to take time out of their lives to help you since you're acting so nicely.
-look at me be hostile-
Instead of acting like a high and mighty jackass, I just want you to know that people probably won't want to help you for various reasons, mostly involving them having to spend time getting the model, rigging it, and converting it to use in Gmod. The second and most probable reason is your attitude, which is pretty shit if you don't mind me saying. I bet if you even got someone to help you out you wouldn't give them so much as a thank you. The reason you are getting flak is because you kept bumping this thread every two hours and when someone simply says that you don't have to bump it(in a non-hostile way), you act like a condescending prick to them. The user who actually ported the Bulldozer, Taser, Cloaker, 1 Blue Swat, Dallas, and Hoxton both with rigged body Armor is Porki-Da-Corgi. He prefers that the people he's lent the models to not to release the models on their own, as he is working on a Special Enemies pack to release soon. Thanks for doing it for me!
The Payday models/modding scene is an absolute disaster. Nobody ever releases the tools they make and don't want people sharing models that aren't even theirs to begin with. If I knew how to rig I'd gladly do this myself.

It's just kind of a learned skill in that you can't explain every step of the porting process because not only is it illogical, but the time spent explaining could be used to port and rig the models yourself. Now, in terms of sharing the models, I asked him myself before, and was specifically requested (fairly nicely, albeit) to refrain from sharing them myself, rather than just directing inquiries toward him. Probably to keep track of testers and whatnot. Anyway, TL;DR - Porky-Da-Corgi, the guy responsible for porting these so far, has shared his information with the public in regards to what tools he uses, and the processes he uses to do so. He also keeps the models to himself so that he can make improvements and add features (such as currently working on HWM faceposing) instead of releasing the models and having to update the files each time he adds a feature.

Also, the "no thank-yous" thing is bullshit as i've been thanking a map porter who's been porting goldsrc maps endlessly to the point of possible annoyance. Speaking of, thanks for the link.

Because I certainly don't remember ever seeing anyone explain the process. Granted, my memory is terrible, but my question still stands.
You have any links to him explaining the process? Because I certainly don't remember ever seeing anyone explain the process. Granted, my memory is terrible, but my question still stands.
I posted before about it in the SFM section- before most of the threads were deleted, and the section hidden. But I also posted about it in this section as well -I would like to add though, it's better to just disregard Texmod and just decompile the game to extract the textures from the files manually. The textures are just renamed .dds files- renaming them back to that extention works, or you should just be able to open them by default with any program that can open .dds files. PD2's .Model files are still only extractable as an un-rigged mesh, but there's a tool someone created that can extract them WITH UVs intact- however the bad news is that it's not really available to anyone yet due to reason unknown. Also, my models are not public yet, but if you want to test them out all you have to do is contact me and I'll give you the links- provided you don't spread them around to every person you know without my permission, or upload them to the workshop. Main reason I'm doing this is that I don't want to give everyone sub-par ports, I'm much happier spreading completed content around than WIP. The reason why this has been taking so long is because I'm also involved in 2 different mods, I've had heavy college work since September, I took a break from PD2 porting over the summer, and now I've begun completely re-doing the ports I already have to make them better- and also because I now have access to the original rigged models via a guy at OVERKILL. I'm currently trying to finish up all the special units so I can release those on the workshop in the next month or two- then go back to working on the heisters again (which are also getting new, custom highpoly masks thanks to SMasters) Pics of my re-made-port of the dozer and cloaker Furthermore if you have any questions about PD2 porting that hasn't been explained yet or anything, feel free to ask, I'll answer them the best I can.
