You should remove the normal maps on the face. They make him look like he's got some horrible skin disease.

I have no idea what you just said. No, the normal map is not good, it might look good in CoD4, but it just looks awful in source. Besides, normal maps shouldn't even be used on human skin. Just remove the normal mapping on the face. It'll look much better, believe me.
