I found this on the Combine OverWiki. I've also seen it in the actual HL2 GCFs. What I want to know is, does it exist? It looks much cooler than the normal elites.
I'm not even sure it's ever been released...
I know a few have tried to replicate it. I know, I for one i'd like to get my hands on it.
Where had they tried to replicate it? It just looks so much cooler than...well, most everything in the retail.
Sven Coop 2 Is making it.
And the image in the .gcf's is an old image they never replaced with the correct one.
Yeah, I figured it might be from the beta since nothing in the retail remotely resembles it. *sigh* Any estimated release date on Sven Coop 2?
Nope. It's on hiatus.
I mean...if I REALLY buckled down, I could take a combine model & strider and make a crude version of this.
Dunno...i'll have to try sometime.

I remember they said Sven Co-op 2 was "almost done" in 2004-5 I believe.

When sven 4.0 is done and dusted they'll resume work apparantely
This the the "Combine Super Elite" A scrapped NPC in the beta, I found this page and scanned it from my copy of Raising the Bar. As everyone said, the only hope so far is Sven Co-Op. Unless valve intend to bring it back into Ep3, Like they did with a few other ideas/npc's in the Episodes.

Remove that scan it's not exactly legal
I doubt the existence of his copy anyway.
