Hey guys! Lately I've been messing around with some models and what not, and I've come across one in particular that I'm kinda stuck on.
The following link, ( [url]http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=231157314&searchtext=Halo[/url] ) is a link to the workshop, the Halo Hack-Ish models. The black model is just a re-texture of the UNSC marine model in black, with a Shemag, backpack, and those ugly goggles.
I am trying to edit the model to get rid of the backpack and the goggles, and then make the face beneath the helmet and shemag male_01-09.
Any idea's on how? I'm using 3ds Max and I'm running into some issues with importing and what not.

Specifically this model ---> models/jessev92/halo/unsc_h3_marine/pilot_reb.mdl
I was wondering how to go about re-texturing that model in the same way as the Recon model above, the black and grey style.
