Pleasant greetings, everyone. I am curious to know if it would be possible to create an hexed copy of the MW2 riot shield whose entire metal component (includes (1) the arm loop, (2) the handle grip, and (3) the surrounding brace) can be "painted" over with a color/material without the surrounding plastic being affected. The procedure would require modifications that are very similar, if not identical to how the items in the Paintable Team Fortress 2 Hats pack (found on Garrysmod.org) were prepared. This means that it would have to be edited to be entirely snow-white. Although this request may be somewhat of a minor novelty, I believe others will find some form of enjoyment out of tinkering with a semi-customizable shield. Who knows what is to come out of it. Thanks for your time.

[SUB]The Modern Warfare 2 Riot Shield: In all its polycarbonate glory! Its handle grip, arm loop, and brace components will need a good bleaching.[/SUB]
For anyone who is interested in undertaking this request, the MW2 Riot Shield prop (courtesy of Ilwrath) can be downloaded here: http://www.mediafire.com/?3a2cx3sunkkuks3. As with my other requests, please take as much time as needed to carry out/complete it. Tweaking models is not the easiest of tasks, so I'm not the least bit worried about how long this could take.
