I've been told by other modelers that there is something wrong with the mesh in some parts. I've looked everywhere, but I either can't find the tutorial for my version of Max (2011), or they don't work in solving the problem. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Try
Edit Mesh>Elements
Hide the parts that are fine
Switch to verts
Ctrl+A
Scroll down under Edit Geometry
Weld with a threshold of 0.01
