Thanks to have check my problem
(And sorry if my english is not perfect)
I have the same problem.
Make sure you've got the correct path in the VMT files. You've got to update those with your new hexed path as well.
The path at the very bottom of the MDL file points toward -> the folder where the VMTs are. The VMTs then point to -> which VTFs to use. If you didn't update the VMT, it's probably still pointing at the original textures in the original folder.
Another test would be to remove the original texture files and see what happens (probably pink and black checkers.)

What VMT file? Where is this one?

Did you just put the photoshop image in your folder?
The .vmt files should be in the same directory as the .vtf files.
And that is where the problem lies, I believe.
"VertexLitGeneric"
{
"$baseTexture" "Texture path file name"
"$selfillum" 1
"$bumpmap" "Bump Map Path and file name"
"$nocull" 1
}
Then you label that (texture name).vmt.
Hope this helps.

Also, keep the quotation marks.

You need each of these files for every texture you have.
