simple as the title says. i'm trying to create an attachment on a model, but when i compile it, studiomdl seems to multiply the values. here's the attachment code:
$attachment "pillar" "006 - HandN" 80.00 20.00 80.00 rotate -0 0 -180
but when i open it inside of mdlviewer, it gives me this code:
$attachment "pillar" "006 - HandN" 320.00 80.00 320.00 rotate -0 0 -180
and the full qc:
$modelname "props_bosses\crazyhand2015.mdl" $scale 4.0 $body lefthand "reference.smd" $surfaceprop flesh $cdmaterials "models\props_bosses\masterhand2015" $sequence bindpose "bindpose.smd" // we want anims--use bindpose so that we can properly apply our attack triggers $sequence idle "idle.smd" fps 30.00 loop $sequence slap "slap.smd" fps 30.00 $sequence death "death.smd" fps 30.00 $sequence start "start.smd" fps 30.00 // starting anim. this is for solo hand, not sure if we're going to do dual hands intro anim. $sequence bombdrop "bombdrop.smd" fps 25.00 $sequence abovepunch1 "abovepunch1.smd" fps 30.00 $sequence abovepunch2 "abovepunch2.smd" fps 30.00 $sequence plow "plow.smd" fps 40.00 $sequence jet1 "jet1.smd" fps 30.00 $sequence jet2 "jet2.smd" fps 30.00 $sequence jet3 "jet3.smd" fps 30.00 $sequence pillars "pillars.smd" fps 25.00 $attachment "hand" "006 - HandN" 0 0 0 rotate 0 0 0 $attachment "pillar" "006 - HandN" 80.00 20.00 80.00 rotate -0 0 -180 $attachment "thumb" "025 - Thumb3N" 0 0 0 rotate 0 0 0 $attachment "ring" "022 - Ring3N" 0 0 0 rotate 0 0 0 $attachment "pinky" "019 - Pinky3N" 0 0 0 rotate 0 0 0 $attachment "index" "010 - Index3N" 0 0 0 rotate 0 0 0 $attachment "middle" "014 - Middle3N" 0 0 0 rotate 0 0 0 $attachment "wrist" "005 - WristN" 0 0 0 rotate 0 0 0
EDIT: ok so more than quickly enough i figured it out
10:42 PM - [LEO]Dr. LilRobot: ok so what happens 10:42 PM - [LEO]Dr. LilRobot: is i have to take the values i see in mdlviewer 10:42 PM - [LEO]Dr. LilRobot: and divide them by 4 10:43 PM - [LEO]Dr. LilRobot: and then put those values into the qc 10:43 PM - [LEO]Dr. LilRobot: ???????
meaning my new line of code is:
$attachment "pillar" "006 - HandN" 20.00 5.00 20.00 rotate -0 0 -180
