So, after a month of the release on PC, GTAV was gradually began modifiable: but only for scripts, sounds and textures. But a week ago, I found the video with a total conversion of Vice City in GTAV.

It seems we can already export/import super HD models from PC-version to any 3D editor, but how? Any suggestions?
It's not done with 3DSMax.
It's actually a port from GTA IV, same format.
OpenIV is working on exporting V models into a format readable by GIMS IV, which is a plugin for 3ds Max. Works pretty well from my experience. If you don't want to wait for compatibility, you can try and convert the V models back into the IV format, then use GIMS IV from there. Just a few extra minutes killed per model, depends on how much you're porting.
