• HL2 Combine Binocular Texture?

Hey folks, I'm hoping one of you can help me out with a small issue. I'm trying to find the viewfinder texture for the Combine binoculars in the HL2/garrysmod materials, as I'm hoping to use it for Photoshop/editing purposes. However I can't seem to find it, and none of the binocular SWEPs on garrysmod.org contain the original texture in their files. For those who may not remember, it's the transparent texture that's overlayed over the player's view during the chapter Highway 17, when the player is spying on GMan and Odessa Cubbage: [thumb]http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/half-life/images/3/3e/Binocs_NLO.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20090605005345&path-prefix=en[/thumb] If someone could point me in the right direction, or better yet provide me with the texture itself, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Thank you both for your help. You were right, I found the file in materials/effects/combine_binocoverlay. [thumb]http://i57.tinypic.com/290y92h.jpg[/thumb] However, I can't get access to the alpha channel. (My VTFEdit is broken currently and I don't have a version of Photoshop that supports alpha channel editing.) Could someone kindly take a look at it and try to extract the file with the alpha channel intact? A simple black-white image is fine. I've uploaded the .vtf here. Thanks again!
The texture just doesn't have an alpha channel, i think overlay that uses the texture uses a sort of blending effect

Fortunately I was able to work with what I had and I think the result looks pretty nice: Thanks for your help everyone!
