I'm [b]COMPLETELY[/b] new to modelling, So far i have exported my model as a SMD and i would like to know how i would convert this to MDL for an entity i am currently making. I have heard something about a .Qc text file or but im unsure of what it actually is. All help is appreciated

Is it a ragdoll or a NPC (as in it has been rigged with animations and the like)?
You need a .qc file to compile it; it sets up properties like physics settings and what smds are used for what.

Should help you. The latter in particular has all the info for turning a bunch of smds to mdl.
Without any specifics, it's kinda hard to be much help beyond this.
