I'm currently modeling a sword for Team Fortress 2, replacing the Eyelander. Now, there is one thing I just couldn't understand how to do. Here is the picture

It has 2 symmetry modifiers, so I need to make on the one showed above.

This is how I want it to look. Not as exact but similar. Also, ignore the details, I just want it to be rounded like shown. The reference is to the right.

No, don't do that. What you're probably looking for is the Chamfer tool which is available on the Edges selection mode. To be honest it might be easier to do it all again using plane modeling and symmetry modifiers.
In any case, applying meshsmoothing to any model (especially if it's for game use) without knowing what you want is unwise.
So I should remove the top face and redo it? Seems kinda hard, because of the shape, but I'll try. Thanks.
