• [Problem] Broken specular maps?

Hello Facepunch I've manage to rip the models from the games but with every port I make I get this problem The model itself in 3DSmax / Blender looks fine , textures too... except the normal map. Here's an example: [t]https://40.media.tumblr.com/68c368e8dd2f4c9ef6a95b58451587c1/tumblr_nzrgopj0qn1rktgxwo1_540.png[/t] //Please ignore the mask, I didn't add material source for it.// [t]https://41.media.tumblr.com/9b2c451209a56264d9cda516b6d092a6/tumblr_nzq7io0OBc1rktgxwo1_1280.png[/t] The normal map doesn't seems to transit properly on the model. Anyone knows the solution for this problem?
merge/join/removedoubles the two mesh parts. enable display of the mesh normals. make sure they are joined. if that doesn't fix it you gotta mess with the normal map. there're a bunch of techniques to fix that. simplest is to paint blur the normal map on that edge.
could you pack up the model and textures? I'd check the UVws to be certain. Might just be some unwelded verts. (also small request, could you extract the steel meridian leader? :P)

Two vertexes are together but not welded.
