• Questions about Gmod Models Request

Hello everyone. I just bought Gmod recently and joined this website a few hours ago. So I don't know much about Gmod or things related to it. May I ask you people a question about Gmod models request? I heard that it is possible to make gameplay models without ragdolls. Is it true? If it is true, Can I request gameplay model which has no ragdolls like anime character or customized character? I would be glad to hear any answers from you people.
Let me clarify some things for you. [t]http://www.csit.parkland.edu/~dbock/Class/csc189/Lecture/FBIKAnimation_files/image039.jpg[/t] This is what a 3D model of a person looks like during the creation process. The green parts are the bones of the models, which act like how a real human skeleton does. It allows the model to move and be animated. A ragdoll is just a model with a skeleton that can move all it's different bones around, but it isn't necessarily animated. Bones are named typically according to the body part they're associated with (right clavicle is usually r_clavicle, for example). A player model or NPC model are ragdolls that have animations, which Garry's Mod can use. NPC's and player models need to have proper animations and the correct bone-naming structure to work. Basically, player models and NPC models are animated ragdolls, but not all ragdolls are animated. If you are trying to make a player model or NPC model, you would have to make it into a ragdoll and apply the proper bone-naming scheme and animations for it to work in Garry's Mod. I hope I cleared some things up for you.
