I've been working on some custom mercs from Splinter Cell Blacklist and have discovered that the models I have compiled don't have ragdolls. This is pretty frustrating because I have no idea how to fix this. Whenever a player dies, they T-pose and turn into an effect rather than a ragdoll. I'm using the ragdoll animation folder from the base merc, but that doesn't actually give the merc a ragdoll. How do I go about correcting this?

Well, I've given it an attempt and here is the results. You may want to avert your eyes.

He looks like he's been blown apart by a grenade and is stiff. The limbs move a little but not much and I can't figure out why this is happening. Anyone able to help me out?

You need to specify rotations in the qc so the limbs can move.
As for the weird look, it's probably a rigging problem.
I'm not sure but try this.
select root bone and move it around, some bones are probably not parented.
so you have to fix bone attachments.

If the model moves fine as a playermodel all the vertices should be rigged.
