Material/skin path for PHX3 metal plates(1x1)?

I'm trying to reskin the metal PHX plates similar to that of Firegod's, the one's he used in his tutorials([url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUlWsVo3sBw[/url])

Anyhow, I swear I've dug through the entire PHX material folder and have yet to find the one that the plates actually reference. I've tried opening them with a hex editor, yet there's no data corresponding to a material in them.
