lillwasa did these quite a while ago but I decided to redo them with bodygroups and other various props

These are giving me ice cream headaches.
Best.release.ever!!!
Pretty useful, can even use the shaved ice cone as a birthday hat.
should make the shaved ice colorable with the color tool

I waned to make the snow cone colorable, as you can see there is a second skin for some white looking ice but I don't really know if there is more to making it colorable then just pasting " $blendtintbybasealpha 1" in the VMT
It is. You just need an alpha channel for the diffuse. White = colorable, black = not colorable.
Welcome back, Jaysee.

I opened it in PS and the alpha was white, unless you are referring to something else

You have to edit the alpha channel yourself.

How so, cause I honestly have no clue how to do any sorta texture work
You've been porting models for like 4 years now, I'd imagine you would know how to make something change color in Photoshop.
Use the polygonal lasso tool to select the area that you don't want to be colorable.

Then go to the alpha channel and press Ctrl + I to invert it, this will make it black.

Why don't you upload it to the workshop yourself? The workshop is perfect for these treats. Now that we have workshop, why would I want to download these off Gmod.org and plop them in a folder when I can download them while I'm ingame?

I'm still trying to figure out how to upload to workshop
Updated OP with Workshop link, Dean to the rescue again
More work for the flexible tongue to be done here. Thanks Jason. Excellent update:v:
