So, back when I did hat making alot, I always had trouble with the texture locations, for some reason, I'd be held up for days with checker hats because the .vtms and .vtfs aren't in the right locations, or I would have typed out the .qc wrong, and it was obviously stressful. On my old laptop, I had this program that basically was a console, you'd drag your .mdl file into it, and it would come up in the console saying your .qc's path to the texture, and all that fun jazz, basically a program to help with this sort of error. I love this program so much, I may or may not have lost my virginity to it. Ok, anyway, I'm a dummy and I deleted it from my old laptop, and now I need it again. All I know was that you'd throw your .mdls into it and it would come up with paths for textures. And it had a combine metro cop from half life 2 on the icon. Does ANYONE know of a program that's like this, or know of the program I'm speaking of? I will sell my soul to you for an answer, especially because I need this hat done for a school project. Ok, thanks! Oh, and since I typed this rather quickly, and I have a rabid cat trying to stand on my keyboard the whole time, if anyone needs any clarification as to what I'm asking, just ask. And thanks again!
I got only a "similar" problem.
It is about .upk files. I can port with umodel and find all except one thing: Consoles. I have found manually the main textures of the multi-texture model. The second part, the screens and monitor textures I don´t get out. I got a lot of screen pics - but no one seems to fit.
So my question: Is there any software that could find the textures of .psk models or have you any clue, where I could search / where the info could be written..?
The game "knows" where are the textures - but no other software I got.
