Hello i just got recently from a Closed Beta tester the Installer for Counter Strike Online 2.
(youtube.com/TheBrenildo was so friendly to upload them lovley thanks to him)
I was so exicted to decompile some fancy models and port them over to SFM and then just found out that its using some weird File Container named .pkg .
So i did some research and used some PS3 .PKG decompiler :
PKG Decompile Tool by TeamSOS

Multi PKG tool by tthousand
I found too a extension for mac and set up a virtual machine with no sucess.
So i thought lets ask the guys on Facepunch if they stumbled up on some pkg decompiler that maybe could work.
If someone is interested in the beta files and wanna try on his own just hit me up i will send you a link.
I dont know if its ok when i post the links here public just correct me if i am wrong.

Hope someone knows something about it i know that nexon is a bit silly with their models and is trying to keep them save in their game files.:zoid:

yes but its always worth a try.
PKG is a generic name which just usually means package file. Open the file in a hex editor to see if it is even remotely close to some format we can open.

i looked into it with the hex editor and dont really know what all that stuff means.
so i send you a file where you could try looking into it with the hex editor and the installer if you want all the files.
