• Wolfenstein TNO to Gmod

Hi everyone! I really want to port some Wolfenstein The New Order models into Gmod for my future machinimas, but it's since two days ago that I can't find anywhere a way to export the models. I've read a bunch of posts saying that it's easy to export 3d models but I didn't manage to find any tutorials or guide on how to do it ._. The ony method I know for doing that is ripping a scene with 3DVIA, which is the only software that can rip scenes from OpenGL games... And it didn't work. Anybody can help me? Thanks in advance!
What you need is QuickBMS and a script to extract models. This is the script:
open FDDE index 0 open FDDE resources 1 comtype unzip_dynamic endian big goto 0x24 get files long get unk long math TMP = files math TMP - 1 for i = 0 < files endian little get FNsize1 long getdstring FN1 FNsize1 get FNsize2 long getdstring FN2 FNsize2 get namesize long getdstring name namesize endian big get offset long get size long get zsize long get unksize long math unksize * 0x18 math unksize + 5 getdstring unkdata unksize if size = zsize log name offset size 1 else clog name offset zsize size 1 endif if i != TMP get filenumber long endif next i
Copy and paste all that code, and put it in a .txt file inside of your QuickBMS folder.

Now what about the .bcm files?
What you have to do is go into the folder where everything extracted, and then go into the unmerged folder. There should be 2 folders named "md6" and "models". Both of these folders have some very useful models. "md6" has your soldiers, weapons, vehicles, characters, important props, and many other things. "models" has your background props, like alarm systems, ammo pickups, health pickups, crates, etc. You can import both, but you need 2 different programs to do so. For the bmd6model extension, get Ultimate Unwrap 3D, as it has a plugin that can import TNO and TOB models, for some reason. For the bmodels, you can use Blender and some plugins, however I forget what they are called.

Everytime I try to find something I always get directed in the same xentax discussion without any link or download...

If you ask the model I want to extract is the London Nautica traincar model.
There are now BCM importers that I am aware of, so BCM is not what you need to look at. You need to look for bmd6models and bmodels. And make sure for the scripts you are using the right version of Blender.

Do you mean the Train in the Substation, that you have to capture ? This is in an bmodel file. Bcm´s are only Boundingboxes. What Model do you need ? Perhaps i can Help. I´m working on Wolfenstein for a while and got interesting Models. Have Fun

Any chance you could pull the Ubersoldat model for me? The 1940s version. Been on my wishlist for quite sometime :)
Paradize, if you read the posts I have made in this thread, you can acquire the 1946 supersoldat yourself.
