I don't know about me being able to rig them however I maybe able to rip them from Crash Twinsanity in order for a rigger to have the models.

as much as i love crash i think this game in general is a let down... the models are ok but what the hell made them think of crash and cortex working together ?!?!

Yeah I'm pretty sure most crash games are console only as I've never seen one on pc

Yes but I have previously ripped ps2 models from Timesplitters. I will see sorry I haven't responded in a bit just add me on steam : JustinTheEnd and remind me to do it.

i just have one question, anyone rip the models yet?
If there are models available for download then they can get rigged. And personally I'd like to see a working Crash Bandicoot Addon myself, even if I have to do the rigging myself.
The only crash models I've ever seen ripped where the main characters from crash of the titans but the guy closed the thread on this one site because someone gave him criticism or something.

Okay I ripped Crash, Cortex and Coco from Crash Twinsanity for PS2. Nothing is rigged yet.
The eyes are freaken crazy, like three layers and I don't know what they do.

Colors on Crash are not his textures, just colored bodygroups with subtextures settings.

I ripped the textures but they don't fit on the model anymore because of the disjointed UV mapping, which I don't know enough about to fix. Anybody interested in fixing these up, rigging and porting to Gmod or should I hold off on this sort of project until I know more about it?
Either way I'm going to rip as many as I can, including the mask bros, main villains and maybe baddies. Just going to be a bunch of texture-less forms for a while though. I'm planning to learn more about this subject though. Eventually. When I can.

unwrap it, scale the UV down, they are very very large.

Yeah that's what I have done. He's pretty much ready for me to rig. And they're still just bodygrouped subtextures. But mighty sophisticated now. They'll make UV mapping a breeze. In theory, anyway.

His hands are also ready for finger rigging so that he will have finger posing.
Is toe posing even needed? Well his toes will be on a bone anyway, he could sneak or stand on his tip-toes or whatever, that should be good enough.

He's been rigged. And he's quite excited about it. Haha. His fingers will need more tweaking because they still act rather. Not like fingers. But I'll figure it out soon.
After that I'm going to start textures, which shouldn't take thaaat long. Various textures though, like everything from his fur and clothes and eyes as well. Pretty sure he still shouldn't have eyes applied yet. Though it's been somewhat creepy rigging him, especially when he broke. Aaaa.
Also, I might have done this backwards. Rigging then make textures. Well, sorry for that much. Probably shouldn't have messed with the order.
Anyway, a lot left to do for everyone's favorite marsupial.
