How to do this "like in gold-source" thing?
:words: I haven't heard anybody using this fancy term"like in gold source thing" before
Uh, I actually meant dying without turning into a ragdoll, that's why I called it so.
:words: I haven't heard anybody using this fancy term"like in gold source thing" before
Think of a vortigaunt's death animation in the original Half-Life, that's what they are referring to. Instead of turning into ragdolls like most character models do in the Source engine, enemies would end up playing an animation upon death (an example would be the vortigaunt's falling backward as if they slipped on a banana peel) in the GoldSource engine.
To my knowledge there should be 2 ways of doing it, lua and compiling a model specifically, both IIRC include the use, or lack thereof, of ACT_DIERAGDOLL
