Well instead of asking people around here to give me 50+ textures im just going to ask for the process of extracting the raw caw caw textures from halo its self. I can do the vtf converting well. So what tools do I need and what are the steps?
Grab the map files you want to extract from and use [URL="http://www.mediafire.com/download/mdgzcn0jiyh/Eschaton_0.8.2_win.zip"]Eschaton[/URL], its the easiest way I'm aware of to grab textures without jumping through hoops and actually having tag data. Also would say to go to xboxdb to grab the map files, but its pointless without the bitmaps.map file, which they seemingly do not have... Just make sure you have at least one map, and bitmaps.map. Open the program, then open your map file, and expand the "bitm" tag class, find the bitmap you want, and to the right are options to grab the rgb/alpha/mip-maps/sequences, in a wide range of formats to save too.
