I made some c_arms for my playermodel, but they kinda need inprovements:\

and the hands seems to stretch out a bit
To my thinking, your playermodel's hands are bigger than a half-life hand so the bones stretch and take their original position.
I think there are 2 solutions :
-In blender, 3DS max or whatever, change fingers' size and stretch them to have same shape as a half-life human
-Or you can use proportion trick, I don't know how to make a proportion skeleton, CaptainBigButt had to learn me but he deleted me from his friends ! You can ask him in Steam
