Unreal Models - Developers - Facepunch Forum

well there are very few Unreal models around.... various models could be ported from: Unreal 2 Unreal 3 Unreal tournament 2004 ------//-------- 2007 before you say it, ye, i saw some ported stuff, but some more characters, etc would be useful/awsome :) so?

The only games in the Unreal series are: Unreal Unreal 2 Unreal Tournament (aka UT'99) Unreal Tournament 2003 Unreal Tournament 2004 Unreal Tournament 3 As to you actual request, what models do you even want? There's a playermodel or two from UT2004, the main players in UT3, a collection of guns from 2004 and the guns and one vehicle from UT3.

..What about Unreal 1? Unreal 1 was one of the best and is the best Unreal game out there.

I always loved UT200x gameplay. Why did Epic Games killed it in UT3?

They may of been a little bit low graphics. But Duke nukem 3D Models we're converted in and i think all they would need is a high-defination texture.

So decompiling / ripping was unneeded. If porting from Unreal is like porting from UT2004, it's going to be tough to do. Especially since UnrealEd doesn't work as well as the base game under modern OSes. Besides, most of the interesting Unreal stuff can be found in UT2004. Stuff like the Skaarj or the other enemies are in that game.

Plus i would love to see one of Unreal's maps converted to Source engine.

just a an fyi epic gets pissy when people port their artwork to other games. you guys can release them, but dont be surprised if they give you a cease and desist letter somewhere down the line.

My nostalgia to that game pushed me. Thanks for informating me abaut that (now I'm sad). I understand what Epic mean. They did awsome game with awsome stuff and pretty big modding option (custom skins works online (not at all but it's working)). I'm not ripping them because I want to be famous - I want to bring back happy, old times but it's look like I will need go back to UT2004 to do it and sadly stop progress. Epic's games [,UT2004 specially] will stay in my heart - for forever. I love you Epic for great times you gave me with your games. P.S. I hope that they will make next Unreal fast-action-placed too.
