• 3DS MAX MODEL BONES ISSUE.

JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW, I AM NOT TYPING LIKE THIS TO YELL, I HAVE EYE ISSUES AND NEED TO SEE BETTER BY TYPING LIKE THIS...SO.... THANK YOU....FOR READING/UNDERSTANDING. ALSO I DON'T MEAN THIS IN A RUDE WAY AND I AM ONLY SAYING IT BECAUSE I HAVE HAD SORT OF BAD REVIEWS ON MY OTHER FORMS.....PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT UNLESS U WANNA HELP ME AND PLEASE TO NOT TURN THIS INTO A CAPS WAR THING.....I DON'T WANT U GUYS TO WAIST UR TIME OR MY TIME WITH THAT CRAP...BUT ANYWAYS......DOWN TO THE ISSUE I AM HAVING. AGAIN THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING AND READING ^_^ I AM SORRY TO BOTHER U GUYS....BUT....I NEED HELP WITH MY 3DS MAX...WHEN I USE THE "WALL WORM MODEL TOOLS" IMPORTER, TO IMPORT AN SMD, THE WIRE FRAME PART IS STANDING UP FIND BUT THE BONES ARE NOT THERE LYING DOWN....(THIS HAPPENS WEATHER I IMPORT A "REFERENCE" OR A "LOD" FILE THE SAME THING HAPPENS.) AND I BELIEVE THIS IS WHAT IS CAUSING ME TO HAVE MESSED UP "BODYGROUPS" (EVERY TIME I TRY PUTTING THEM IN WHEN I PUT THE MODEL IN SFM THEY COME OUT THROUGH THE MODEL AND NOT IN THE NORMAL BODYGROUP BEHAVIOR.) CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT? I TRIED ROTATING THE BONES BUT THE MESH MOVES WITH IT SINCE THERE CONNECTED...IF I MANAGE TO HAVE HELP IN FIXING IT I HOPE IT DOSE NOT DISCONNECT FROM THE MESH BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO JOIN THEM BACK, I AM NEW TO 3DS MAX.....SO CAN SOEMONE PLEASE HELP ME? P.S IF 3DS MAX WON'T WORK FOR ME I DO HAVE BLENDER (I HAD IT LONGER THEN MAX) BUT NEVER UNDERSTOOD/TRIED TO USE IT UN TELL NOW I AM ONLY HAVING TWO ISSUES WITH IT, 1 IF I IMPORT A MESH REFERENCE OR OTHER WISE LIKE IN MAX I TRY TO EXPORT IT AND IF IVE MADE CHANGES TO IT LIKE SAY IF I SWITCHED A HEAD OR SOMETHING AND I TRY TO RECOMPILE IT FOR SFM (BONES WERE INCLUDED WHEN I IMPORTED IT A SECOND TIME TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE THERE.) BUT WHEN I TRY TO COMPILE THE MODEL (WITH CROWBAR) IT SAYS THERE'S A PARENT MISSING FORM THE MODELS PELVIS BONE HOW DO I FIX THIS? I AM ALSO WONDERING/WANTING TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE BONES ATTACH TO MESHES (IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO IT TO TWO MESHES ON THE SAME MODEL LIKE ATTACH ONE BONE TO THE CUSTOM MESH FOR BODYGROUP REASONS?) IF SO PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO ATTACH EM. I TRIED IT WITHOUT ATTACHING THEM AND THE BODYGROUP WAS ROTATED BECAUSE OF IT. IT WAS SIDE VIEW SO PLEASE CAN U HELP ME WITH THAT IN CASE 3DS MAX SOMEHOW GOD FORBID IT DOSE NOT WORK? ^^
Get glasses, jfc :disgust:. The [b]right[/b] solution is to have Wallworm address this, but to solve your issue of "rotating the bones has the mesh rotate, too", you just need to expand the Skin -> Envelope of your mesh, then scroll down to the bottom, expand Advanced Parameters, and uncheck Always Deform. Then you can rotate the bones without the mesh moving. Once everything's in place, simply check Always Deform again.

AND PP.S HOW DO I HAVE THEM ADDRESS THE ISSUE...? DO I HAVE TO HAVE AN ACCOUNT TO ASK THEM FOR HELP? IF THAT'S WHAT U MEAN BY ADDRESS.

Windows also has options for DPI settings and screen magnification.
