The viewmodel is the more detailed model. The weapon is a LOD of the vmodel that is lower poly than vmodel.

Do in this packs included EOLAD-1V (Holo sight), but with Laser and switches instead of PWR (Reader) block? It will be hell of a useful thing for tacticoolness.

Also make sure you look at the viewmodel_ The information in the first post was incorrect, about "weapon_" been high poly. "viewmodel_" = the model used in the players view (high poly) "weapon_" = the 3rd person model, use to be called "worldmodel_" (lower poly) All the gun models in this game are of much higher poly count than any previous cod, some guns have 25,000 verts some scopes 8k verts, which is gonna make them look bad in Source why???
