Hello, I would like to make a Smash Bros stage as a map in Gmod.
However, Hammer editor can't import [I].smd[/I], or [I].mdl[/I] files. Only [I].vmf[/I], [I].vmn[/I], [I].map[/I] or [I]rmf[/I] files.
Is there a way to pass from Blender to Hammer please ?
you can export the level as .smd and make a .mdl the import it in to Hammer as a static_prop or multiple static_props depending on how you do the collision on it, but you would have to seal it with a skybox to avoid leaks, if you where to use 3sMax thou you could use wallworm to export the level made in that as a vmf [url]http://dev.wallworm.com/topic/47/vmf_exporter.html[/url]
Oh okay ! I've got 3ds Max but only 2017 version. Wall Worm's plugin doesn't work in this version... And I think I can't have an older version.
I will try the other method.
If you lo0k at the specifications page it says versions 2010 to 2015 + i take it the + should include 2017 version :)
:cat: Oh yes you are right ! It works thank you ! I mistaked VMF importer for SMD importer, that doesn't work for 3dsMax2017.
