• How to make a talking playermodel ? (and make the eyes blinking)

Hello ! I am making Mipha playermodel and I have 2 problems (Is it better if I make a new thread for each problem or if I put all of my problem in this thread ?) : I don't know how to make a playermodel with microphone lip-sync, and with blinking eyes. I decompiled other playermodels but it looks complicated, and I didn't find anything on the net. I made 3 shape keys, left eye closed, right eye closed and mouth open [IMG]https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2017/12/1490543526-asupprimermipha.jpeg[/IMG] What I have to add in the .QC file to make her speaking when I'm speaking by the microphone and to make her eyes blinking please ? But is it possible to make the illuminated part lighter than the original texture, like in the image ?

:scream: Oh a reply ! Yes, it's a thing related to facial flexes. But I think there is something to put in the QC file to make lip-sync and blinking eyes, no ?
All you need for lipsync is for all of the FACS flexes to exist. The game will handle the rest. Same for blinking. As far as the shading goes, can't really help you there.
Garry's Mod automatically makes the HL2 playermodels blink, and they also move their mouths when someone speaks on the microphone. He's essentially asking what is needed in the QC in order to make that work with his custom playermodel. I'm re-iterating what he said since it doesn't seem to be clear, and because I also want to know because I don't know how myself :buckteeth: [editline]:([/editline] Ninja'd. Thank you Kartoffel!
In that case, the article that iDeku posted should answer Lukis's questions. Beyond the QC parameters for the .vta/.dmx, nothing else is needed.
