Hey, I'm wondering is there any modelers here who are using XSI mod tool?
I need a bit of help. I'm trying to do some head-hacking, but can't delete the body parts. I've seen tutorials for programs like 3ds max for headhacking, but can't get far with mod tools.
someone mind explaining how I get rid of the various body parts?
(I am VERY new to this. sorry if I should have this elsewhere)
At the top right corner there is a button called objects. Click it and click your model. Next click the tweak button in the menu on the left. Now, hold the T key and select the parts that you want deleted by clicking and dragging over them. Now, just press the delete key(not backspace).
Thanks, Now having trouble exporting, it won't export the head-hacked model properly, usually ends up headless...

What are you exporting it as?

And are you using XSI 7.5?
exporting as SMD, and give me a sec, i'll check the version

yeah, it's 7.5

having trouble exporting that as .SMD, it'll either export the body or the head, not both as I want.
