( i know it was only just released. but i'm surprised no one else requested it already) can someone please port/rig/whatever the Xenomorph from Alien Isolation? and possibly some of the others as well? like Amanda, the synthetics, other humans. i have high hopes for getting a ragdoll of the xenomorph. but i wont hold my breath on it. i know how it is for modders/riggers.

The Devs stated that the game was made with an "in-house engine" and different from the one Creative Assembly used with Total War (different team apparently). So unfortunately existing tools likely won't work with them. Going to have to hope that the more knowledgeable folks can create tools for the game. I'd be glad to be proven wrong on this and it winds up being quick and easy to get models (with bones preferably) from the game. Would love to get the models from the game, especially the Nostromo crew. Not sure if basic ripping tools like ninjaripper will work on the game. I've never been able to get them to work on anything.

If anyone is genuinely interesting in getting assets out of this game your more than welcome to contact me but right now I have no motivation to do any more

Shame I missed this- just a heads up for anyone who doesn't own the game- you can find places that sell the Russian digital steam key online for $20-$30 and you just use a VPN to activate it.

Ninja Ripper don't extract UV-chanell in skinned models (characters). Any ideas?
Have you used NinjaRipper before? Unless you know what you're doing and it's specific to this game, that's how it always works.
I use ninja ripper long time. I used version 1.1.4 with both mode (wrapper\intruder) and try import extracted mesh with different options (any combinations 4-32 for uv). Static models and equipment - no problem, correct UV. Characters - garbage UV. But you did it ?

Die .omodel Dateien werden bald erst ein lesbares Format, Cra0 arbeitet noch daran. Heißt im Klartext, dass du damit momentan wohl noch nichts anfangen kannst. For those wondering what's going on: Nightwolf was wondering how to open the .omodel files that he gets from unpacking LEVEL_MODELS.PAK and I explained that Cra0 is still working on making .omodel readable.
Bitte Leute, lesen. das ist mom. nur ein entpacker im alpha status. der support oder ein mögl. model importer daurt noch bissl. pls guys, read. atm it's an early unpacker for files. a possible importer or another method to get to the models will come in due time.

Also those PAKs are distinguished souly by their names. Theres no magic identifier anywhere. More WIP to come
That's really pretty neat, it's cool to see they haven't heavily invested into keeping their engine under lock and key. I'm not going to lie, Isolation seems like it would be an amazing game to create mods for someday in the hypothetical future.
