What happened to Ragdoll Compiling?

I have compiled several ragdolls before, but for some reason things have gone crazy. I've tried both the orangebox compiler and source filmmaker compiler, and ended up with an MDL that cannot be spawned via the "q" menu (button simply doesn't react when clicked), and when spawned by the console ends up as a static prop with a small vphysics model that's off-center. I've gone through every permutation of this model I can find, fixed anything I can think of that might be causing the problem, and nothing has gotten better. Please, SOMEBODY, tell me the QC file is flawed, or out of date, or that my compilers are fucked-up. Though I don't THINK it's the compilers, since my other models turned out okay on the other side.
