This maybe a relatively simple request, what I want are the Tau XV88 Broadside Battlesuits from W40K as ragdolls. They can be ported from Soulstorm, Dark Crusade, or made from scratch, whichever is easier for the modeler.

I support.
(BTW, those were overpowered units. Especially in the Tau stronghold mission.)

Thanks for the support, and I know they're overpowered units but they are good substitutes for turrets (Which are virtually none-existent as the Tau)

Actually, I think it works like this:
-All races in Dawn Of War, Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, and Soulstorm have a Listening Post/Da Big Listening Post/Tower Of Loathing/Obelisk/Listening Shrine that can be built on Strategic Points and Relics. I recall that they have two weapon upgrades (they are initially unarmed buildings, then get a basic HMG and more HP, then get a BFMG and helluva lot more HP), and if you're playing the SOB, you can add a Holy Icon that allows you to store more of the Faith resource they use. If you're Dark Eldar, you get to add a third weapon upgrade, that makes it even more shooty.
-All four original races (Space Marines, Chaos, Eldar, Orks), the Imperial Guard (WA), the Necrons (DC), and the Sisters Of Battle (SS) have access to Turrets. The Necrons do not have Minefields, but everyone else in this point has.
-The Tau and Dark Eldar do not get any Turrets or Minefields besides their Listening Post.
Yes but upgraded tau cause mass rape against everything. Well they did in DC, not so much in SS.

I haven't played Soulstorm yet, but I'm thinking about buying it after I finish the Campaign of Dark Crusade.
By the way if your not busy could you try porting this or not?

Ah, okay I understand now.

Cough cough Shas'UI slow mine and vespid scream, and drone unborrow cough cough
Best mines in the entire game cough cough
Plus any turret but the imperial guard one to take a choke in the early game is a resource vaste.
And potentially broadsides were the one single Tau unit that was not broken like hell.

Units every rarely count as buildings, and the drones are not mines. Mines explode. Drones burst out of the ground and shoot.

And disrupt everything in a wide diameter. And technically speaking units vs buildings isn't as important as the roles they fullfill.
Anyway...would anyone be willing to take this request or not?
Well I can take a look into it, but no promises. Might have the unpacked SGA files still somewhere.

Thanks, take as much time as you need.
Bump
Haven't had time yet
Do you need help? I don't know much about modeling, porting, or rigging but if you need anything just let me know.
