Anyone have an idea how to port models from Supreme Commander Forged Alliance? I remember someone did this before, because there was a model from that game in the releases section (it was the Cybran rocket bot if anyone remembers).
Would anyone like to help? I want to know how to do this so I can do it myself. A step by step process would be most appreciated.
It's fairly simple actually. Though keep in mind I'll be going mostl from memory. Been ages since I did the rocket bot.
Essentially you first need to unpack the datafiles with any zip package. And then you have to use some import scripts

The hardest part comes after this. Supcom doesn't use a bone system, so you will have to create new skeletons and bones yourself for the models.
Of course since they're very blocky, rigging them is simple enough.

Although the blender link doesn't have a download, and most of these seem to be targeted torwards Supreme Commander 2. These will work for forged alliance?
