I'm trying to convert some weapon models onto the HL2 w_model rig, but I keep getting this odd error.
I'm following [url=http://www.facepunch.com/threads/851426-How-to-fix-CSS-world-models-for-HL2-Gmod-and-Smod.]This Tutorial[/url], but I'm using 3DS Max 9 instead.
I load the player/human model, then load the weapon; this is what happens:

I'm not sure but it's like the camera is welded with the weapon because I can still move the player/human model around in the view & the weapon's bones/attachments are showing in the correct places.
Anything that would be helpful to me so I can figure out what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.
I think it's because the weapon isn't using the proper bone names. Try importing a default HL2 weapon and seeing what bones are missing.
