i was wondering how i can make like a g-man face to semi appear over the screen(translucent like in intro of hl2) and also how can i set game speed to like 0.2 for a couple seconds then back to 1.
You could've at least posted this in the fear type mapping thread.

Not completely appear i want it to be partially there so you can see the face and the map at the same time (like in the intro of hl2)

I am not sure how to make gman's face appear on the screen like in the beginning of hl2 but I can at least tell you how to make things go slower. You will need a point_servercommand (for multiplayer maps) or point_clientcommand (for singleplayer maps) and some trigger or entity that fires outputs to the point_client-/servercommand. use as outputs "command | sv_cheats 1" and then "command | host_timescale 0.2". You need to have cheats enabled to have host_timescale work but try to avoid cheats being on 1 for too long or the player(s) might abuse it.
