So, while playing on it one day, I thought "Hmm, this would be a cool RP map if all of the buildings were enterable and were furnished.". So, anyone interested in converting cs_assault into an RP map? -------- My plan is to do this, if you look around cs_assault, you've got the trainstation. The warehouse. Loads of buildings, that if you noclip through, theres nothing there. But in hammer, it's just some Nodraw Textured walls. I'm a pretty average mapper, but i want to give this a try. I will post whenever i do something, whenever i find something out, and so on and so forth. -------- So far, i've ripped one room of its hints, player clips and nodraw textures, and left it as a bare measure textured shell, i've also opened it up from outside (which wasn't hard atall) so now you can go in and see it. Nope, all the textures and everything are working fine in the EP1 engine. Also, first picture has been added, and i'm going to take a picture from ingame aswell in a minute. You know, once I tried to put CS_office, CS_Assault and some other CS maps into one map. I fuckin gave that shit up.

^ Not hard. If I had decompiler I would do it but VMex doesn't work :(
It's probably not hard to do it, but compiling is the biggest pain in the ass. If you want to try it i can upload the vmf somewhere.
Well it's not like it's a small map that you put together in 30 minutes that would only take 30 seconds to compile.

Counter Strike maps don't recompile properly.
