I want to add large flames to my map, but when I change the size of the env_fire from 64 to 900 , the compiled version has the flame the original size, but the damage area is the right demensions.
Am I doing something wrong or does the env_fire have a max size?
i would guess there is a limit. not 100% sure. maybe use flames in a skybox if u need large ones?

If you're using the Episode 2 Engine, I believe the fire is particle based and hammer won't scale that. You'll have to make your own particle for it.

Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know.
I don't know how to make my own particles and the map isn't worth it, it was just a side project from random inspiration.
